Eastpak or Oilily- or both? Hard to think being sick...*cough* *cough*

Hey dudes and dudettes (did I just say that or was it just my mouth speaking and my brain disfunctional?)
I am sick today...so don't expect any photos. Of me, anyways.
Today at school, I felt like I was being tortured, I felt horrid and plus our first class was Nature Science- my least favourite subject....I wanted to sleep *Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*.
The whole day was just a big blurr, probably because I didn't know what I was doing or how I was thinking...
Next week's my birthday- Woohoo! Well, not "Woohoo" actually because I am going to spend it at school till 5 o'clock. Goddamn school, always has to ruin everything.
*Batting my lashes hoping for the best to happen*:

To my dearest Mama,
Can I please, please have a new school bag? I know I have my Oilily- but it's quite unpractical. I swear to god IF I get my new school bag I will NEVER ask for another one and I will change now and then school bags between the Oilily and the Eastpak. Do you know that brand? No? Well, let me show you:

Nice patterns, huh? And they have SO much more.
This probably won't work at all, but I'm just keeping my fingers crossed- wishing for the best. And goddamit they are practical! This is probably getting me nowhere. I just hope for it as a birthday present!
I ask too much but hey, I'm a girl! And girls need more clothe and bags, right?
Please comment when you read by blog -> -> => =>
I am maybe moving next week to a new place (well, a compound) in Tarabya, which is where school is so that means no more waking up at 5:40 am. Me, my twin brother and my mother went furniture shopping on sunday- and I bought cool furniture for my soon-to-be new room. I'm thinking of styling it slightly oriental, with pillows on the floor- and just something relaxing and not too bright.
Luckily tomorrow's the weekend so I can realx, sleep in, see some shops if I feel better...
Zzzzzzz...
By the way, I apologize for not posting for over 4 days...
Thanks for reading
Peace
Love you guys
Juliette

My kawai day out in town

Let me start explaing the title.
Well, all I gotta explain is kawai which is a Japanese word meaning cute. Don't ask me why I wrote: "My cute day out in town.", because I don't know, I FELT like writing that, it's all about the feeling, get me?
Anyways, this afternoon, me and my mom decided to go to Osmanbey, the town. First off, we strolled in the streets for a bit, then decided to have a little treat at the Beymen Brasserie. It wa brrillliant! The decor was stunning- a HUGE round mirror hung on the wall, there were cosy couches against the walls, and one wall was completely covered with posters and paintings, it was a very nice ambiance. I ordered some turkish cay (you pronounce the c ch), which is tea, and profiteroles glacees, which was profiteroles with ice-cream and chocolate sauce. The profiteroles dessert was HUGE, and I couldn't help but noticing that the person at the table next to me was staring. Beymen is such an amazing shop, and the brasserie INSIDE the shop is definitely a good idea. So, here is the most discrete picture my mom could take of me eating at the Beymen brasserie.

I know, I know- new haircut! I decided to go with a side-fringe. I prefer it covering my eye though. haha.

Next we hit Blender (by Beymen), it's much trendier than Beymen. And let me tell ya, it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
The window, the inside decor...it was BREATHTAKING. And, what I liked was that near every chair, there was a pile of empty notebooks that I was just ready to snatch. "You can get arrested for that, Juliette." my mom told me. "Really, for a bunch of notebooks?" Ha! that made me chuckle to myself.
What I loved- and I really mean love love love was a pair of flats from the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection. It's black with pink hearts. I AM going to buy it, believe me.
Behold, the Blender window.

Let me explain the window with the manequin on top of a counter with meat:
At the back of the Blender store, there is this meat restaurant, which is supposedly the best meat in Istanbul, so that's why the window has lots of meat. *No offence to all you vegetarians out there*.
So, we continued with out strolling around. Here's Istanbul for ya:

That's a taste for you.
Now, are you ready for the ULTIMATE?
*Ahem* I put the Vuitton in Louis!

So, there's the "ultimate" for you!

Just another info, my schoolbag is not some old rucksack, it's pretty (yet quite unpractical)
Oilily-

Peace, and love you guys.

He's the O to the BA, M and the A

Just in case you don't know what the title spells, it spells Obama.
Yes, yesterday was his inauguration! Nice to see GB (George Bush) leave once and for all.
He is very inspiring and a great speaker. His words touch everyone, his speeches are great.
He is The One. The one who can make things happen, who can make Change.
"Yes We Can!"

I wonder how people feel on America, right now. I'm in Turkey, I am not American, but of course this event is important on the whole world.

I'm home what's been found?

Yes my friends, I am baack! Yesterday I spent the whole day in the car, listening to the whole 30 Seconds To Mars CD, then the My Chemical Romance one, popping Doritos in my mouth now and then, and non-steadily reading Twilight.
But that's not important, I think.
I am armed with pics of the new clothes. TWO pairs of skinny jeans, One long sleeve, and a dress, that is.
So, here goes nothing:

Shoes Converse, Jeans Little Big, Belt Cars, Dress Little Big, Black Top Petit Bateau, Black Scarf unknown

Yes, I know "These outfits are so simple, couldn't you have thought of anything better?" is probs what you're thinking, right? Uh-huh, I am aware of that, is the answer, but you have to understand that I don't have my WHOLE wardrobe at the moment, due to the fact that all of my other clothes are in the shipment. And I promise that my outfits will be more interesting once I get them stuff...or if I buy anything else, for that matter. You hear me mama? Hehe
Okay, moving on to the rest of my new finds.

Me likes the detail in the back!

Can't go without my umbrella-ella-ella, can i ?

I know: "This is BORING-who wants to know about a girl wearing jeans and a top? I'm outta here!"
But please, you gotta understand. hey? Oh, have mercy!
I will make it up by dancing (not a scene you want to see) or posting more photos (I already have enough, right?) or anything, just pleease stay. Yeah, my style is developping so it'll take time for it to be more adventurous and original.

And a big thank you to 30 Seconds To Mars!

Twilight...Jeans...

As you all know, Twilight came out at the end of last year, based on the bestselling series by Stephenie Meyer.
The fanbase is really huge, especially for the movie with Robert Pattinson playing Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Isabella Swan. I am myself a big fan of the book, and to see that a movie was made surprised me.
I am glad that they brought back the pale look, which matches my skin.

And I also think that Isabella/ Kristen has this really beautiful dark beauty, her face is really interesting.

In o-other news, I got new clothes! I don't have pics yet (soo typical of me) but I did get TWO pairs of skinny jeans, a long top, and a dress/ top thing, all from Little Big. I think I am onto my 7th pair of skinny jeans. Hurray!
My mother tells me " Don't you ever get bored of skinny jeans? It's time to try something else!"
Well, the answer is no, I definitely do not get tired of skinny jeans!
I surely won't have the pics by tomorrow since school finishes at 5 (oh, the pain!).
Short post today, all I can do.
Yours truly
Juliette
A big thanks to 30 Seconds To Mars!

The new kid in town (me)

Sorry, no pics of today's outfit either...God damn schoolwork...

Being new is not the easiest experience one could go through, but you have to try and do your best not to fall... I have made some nice friends, but I still miss my friends in Cape Town so much...
Tomorrow we've got a maths test (NO!!!) and let me let you know I am not a fan of maths. At all.

Let's get work out of the way, and let's forget all about it.

I think someone who has accomplished a lot in her life, made a name of herself, and created a whole new way we dress....is Coco Chanel. A true inspiration.

She's known for the Chanel suit, Chanel jacket, bell bottoms and Chanel n5 perfume.

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."

Thank you Coco, for everything. What fashion has become now, it's all thanks to you. Without you, we wouldn't have been wearing what we are today.

I have discovered that there is a perfume is named " Juliette has a gun" which pleased me a lot due to the fact that my name is in it, obviously.

I wonder how it smells...hmmmmm...
Here are some photos, not of today's outfit though, but just some goofing around...

That's right, drink that orange juice!

Thank you
Yours truly,
Juliette
And thanks to 30 Seconds To Mars!

Chloe, Otua, I'm going to kidnap you!

School has been holding me back froom writing in my blog...it's very disapointing. I mean, what's the point of school? Okay, yes there is a point, learning, but if we go to school, it's working, and we all know that adults get paid to work...so why don't we?

I read in an artical in teenvogue that in the States, some kids actually do get paid for doing well in school!

I am missing my friends so much...life is quite boring without them...I dug into my files in this laptop, and found pictures of me and my best friend Chloe, I also have pictures of Otua.

They are both so gorgeous, aren't they? Such models-to-be! Of course, I'm not the model to be, what with my pale skin and awkward face!

Sorry, no pics of today's outfit...it's not really interesting anyways.

Now, I've got something to say:

I like to wear black, my favourite color is black. Some grandes personnes (adults)seem to have a problem with that...but it's just me, my personality. My favourite music is 30 Seconds To Mars and My Chemical Romance...emo.

I'll wear black if I want to! hheeehhee...

I miss you Chloe and Otua...and all the rest of you guys in Cape Town!
I AM going to kidnap you...be aware!

Bye

Juliette

And a big thank you to 30 Seconds To Mars!
